The Social Agency, while fulfilling its functions and exercising its rights as defined in its Charter, operates in interaction with state and local self-governing bodies, international and non-governmental organizations, and other legal and physical entities. According to its scope of activity, it organizes the provision of state orders in the field of social services to municipalities, individuals, legal entities, and non-governmental organizations. Over 100 NGOs and other entities have collaborated with the Agency on various projects. The main purpose of the Agency’s state orders is to facilitate the lives of vulnerable groups and provide them with quality social services. Vulnerable populations, particularly children with disabilities, constitute the primary target group. Ensuring that children with disabilities become fully integrated members of society and participate in social life has become a key direction of the state’s social policy. Since its establishment, the Agency has focused on organizing social rehabilitation services for children with disabilities through social order mechanisms. In 2025, under the Agency’s social order, the project “Implementation of Innovative Initiatives for the Assessment and Expansion of Learning Opportunities for Children Suffering from Dyslexia” led to the creation of the “Dyslexia” mobile application. Dyslexia is a learning disorder characterized by difficulties in listening, speaking, reading, writing, reasoning, and mathematical skills. The main purpose of the application is to facilitate the integration of children with dyslexia into society, make communication and interaction with them easier, uncover their academic potential, develop screening and assessment tools for dyslexia, and support parents in enhancing their skills to assist their children’s development. The information and recommendations provided in the application are intended for educational and informational purposes only and should not be considered as medical diagnosis or treatment advice.
The project aims to support the integration of children with dyslexia into society and facilitate communication with them. Expected outcomes include better assessment of children with dyslexia; implementation of educational methods that meet their needs; easing the learning process through modern technological tools and mobile applications. Anticipated results: early identification of dyslexia symptoms via the mobile application; support functions for parents and teachers; improvement of children’s reading and writing skills; adoption of diversified strategies within the education system. The project is very innovative, and like other social projects, it is expected to achieve positive results.
