Emiliya Ahmadova

I have participated as an expert, mentor, trainer, speaker, and jury member in several programs. I served as a Local Expert for the KOICA Innovation Policy Development Project in 2024, supported by the Korea International Cooperation Agency and the Information & Digital Development Agency (IDDA). I led and trained university students in the Jean Monnet Project on EU Perspectives on Social Economy and Sustainable Development from 2024 to 2025. I participated as a certified innovation trainer in the SAGE & IDDA Train the Trainer Program in 2024. I mentored winning BANM student teams in the Social Innovation and Tourism Tech categories at Teknofest 2024 (Turkey) and Teknofest Cyprus 2024, and guided multiple finalist teams at Teknofest Istanbul 2025, including 2nd, 3rd place winners, and the Most Promising Commercialization Award. I co-organized, served as a jury member, and mentored at the TransitHack Hackathon in 2024, organized with Huawei. I also organized the Hult Prize on Campus competition and acted as a startup founder and mentor at GIST (Global Innovation through Science and Technology). In 2024, I mentored the Miras and BullyGuard projects at the Enactus National Competition, which secured second and third places respectively. I represented BANM Innovation Center as a startup participant at Web Summit Lisbon in 2025 and will speak at the State & IT Eurasian Forum 2025 (StrategEast) on academia–industry collaboration in innovation. I contributed as a jury member and ecosystem contributor in multiple national innovation competitions through the IDDA Innovation Ecosystem Programs in 2024–2025 and served as a jury member for the Akademik Sahibkarlıq Əsaslı Startap və Inkubasiya Proqramı (ASSİP). Additionally, I served as a trainer for the ConstructionTech Incubation program and mentored student teams in the “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” category at the Azerbaijan STEAM Festival (SAF 2025).

I have co-organized several programs, including the FinovateBank Hackathon in collaboration with BHOS and Bank Respublika, TransitHack Hackathon in partnership with Huawei where I also served as a jury member and mentor, the Hult Prize on Campus competition, and the Lean Startup School, a six-week incubation program.

During the year, I supported several active startups, including AgroWise, BullyGuard, FinGuard, BestByte, Navetra, PerkPay, as well as numerous other projects that were preparing to participate in various programs and competitions.
