Emiliya Ahmadova

In 2024 and 2025, I participated as an expert, mentor, jury member, trainer, and organizer in multiple international and national programs and events. I served as a local expert for the KOICA Innovation Policy Development Project, supported by the Korea International Cooperation Agency and the Information & Digital Development Agency (IDDA). I led the Jean Monnet Project on EU Perspectives on Social Economy and Sustainable Development, serving as project lead and trainer for university students. I also participated in the SAGE & IDDA Train the Trainer Program and became a certified innovation trainer. I mentored winning student teams in Social Innovation and Tourism Tech categories at Teknofest 2024 in Türkiye and Technofest Cyprus 2024, and supported multiple finalist teams, including 2nd and 3rd place winners and the Most Promising Commercialization Award, at Technofest Istanbul 2025. I co-organized, mentored, and served as a jury member at the TransitHack Hackathon, organized with Huawei. I organized the Hult Prize on-campus competition and participated as a startup founder and mentor in GIST (Global Innovation through Science and Technology). I mentored the Miras and BullyGuard projects at the Enactus National Competition 2024, which secured second and third places, and I will represent BANM Innovation Center at Web Summit Lisbon 2025. I was a speaker at the State & IT Eurasian Forum 2025 (StrategEast), representing BANM on academia–industry collaboration in innovation. I also served as a jury member and ecosystem contributor in multiple national innovation competitions organized by IDDA Innovation Ecosystem Programs in 2024–2025. Additionally, I served as a jury member for the ASSİP, a trainer for the ConstructionTech Incubation program, and a mentor at the Azerbaijan STEAM Festival (SAF 2025) in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship category. Currently, I am organizing the WebTechLab Startup Development Program, planned to be implemented jointly with IDDA. 

This year, I organized and co-organized several technological and innovative projects. I served as the organizer of the FinovateBank Hackathon in collaboration with BHOS and Bank Respublika. I co-organized, mentored, and served as a jury member at the TransitHack Hackathon, organized in partnership with Huawei. I also organized the Hult Prize on-campus competition and co-organized the Lean Startup School, a six-week incubation program, where I mentored and supervised four finalist teams and five projects representing Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) in the Teknofest Cyprus and Teknofest Istanbul 2025 competitions. Currently, I am also working on organizing the WebTechLab Startup Development Program, which is planned to be implemented jointly with the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA).
