The SmartAbituriyent platform was created to address significant gaps in the Azerbaijani education system’s university admission process, such as limited access to information, decision-making without proper analysis, and inequality. All processes are fully digitized and user-oriented. Data on passing scores and quota places for all specialties from 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 have been collected and integrated into an interactive analysis system, allowing users to compare past years using simple filters and obtain real information about their chances of admission. The platform can calculate potential specialties a user may be admitted to based on their exam scores and selected group, providing trend forecasts based on at least three years of data, including increases or decreases in quota places and rises or falls in passing scores. An interactive AI assistant based on the curriculum is integrated into the platform via WhatsApp and in-app chatbot functionality, enabling users to ask questions and receive answers based on real data. Users can generate PDF analytical reports according to selected parameters, which include passing scores, quota places, and comparative analysis with previous years; these reports serve as supportive tools for parents, teachers, and tutors. The platform also offers a guided selection simulator where users rank their choices, and the system determines the risk level for each specialty based on historical data, categorizing them as “High chance,” “Medium risk,” or “Score not sufficient,” helping applicants balance their selections safely. Additionally, the database provides separate information for state-funded and paid places as well as full-time and part-time education formats, allowing users to filter their choices and make more informed decisions.
