Description – As the Girls Code Azerbaijan Community, we have been organizing various projects, events, meetings, and scholarship programs for the past six years to support women's development in technology and break societal stereotypes about the "technology and women" combination. Over 10,000 women have participated in the events organized by the community so far. Throughout these years, we have received hundreds of positive feedbacks, reviews, and words of gratitude, which have played a significant role in motivating us to continue our journey as Girls Code. During one of the events, a participant shared the following thought: "I wish I had attended an event like this earlier; my life and career would have turned out completely differently." At Girls Code, we aim to ensure that women don't have these "I wish..." moments later in life, but instead can build their careers in the sector they desire and pursue their dreams without fear of obstacles. More than 170 women have had the opportunity to pursue education in various fields through the Girls Code scholarships, helping them to start new careers. Once a year, our community organizes the TechSHEroes event, which serves as a graduation day where women showcase the projects they have developed based on the education they received through our scholarship program in technology. The event is attended by an audience of over 250 people and features a panel discussion titled "The Role of Women in Technology and Career Opportunities for Them" held annually. Members of the community study at Matrix Academy either at discounted rates or completely free of charge. To enhance career opportunities, the community frequently organizes networking meetings with Girls Code members who have secured jobs. Additionally, active members are provided with internship or job opportunities at companies we collaborate with, such as Femtech, Sabah HUB, Mina Software, Part Agency, and Tayqa Tech. Community members also benefit from a $300 voucher to join international training sessions offered by Google (https://www.cloudskillsboost.google/), through which they can apply for international Google certifications. Once a year, in December, we organize a special gathering with the women in the community, where they receive envelopes containing a "Wish List" to set their goals for the upcoming year. In these envelopes, they outline the goals they plan to achieve in the following year.
