FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
IDDA Awards is a solemn award ceremony for the most active participants in the innovation ecosystem of Azerbaijan in various categories. The Awards aim to draw public attention to the successful projects, most active people, and achievements of Azerbaijan's tech and innovation ecosystem and motivate its stakeholders to new achievements
By applying for a nomination, you can compare your achievements with other participants in the ecosystem, find out how well the public is aware of your accomplishments, and get a chance to win one of the nominations. As one of the winners, you will automatically enter the history of the domestic innovation ecosystem and draw attention to your project.
Submission of an application, participation in the voting, and participation in the awards ceremony are absolutely free.
Only those applications that meet the criteria for each nomination are accepted for public voting. You can view the criteria here.
Everyone can vote for one nominee in each nomination, having gone through the registration process before that.
If you have already been nominated in one of the nominations, you can only vote in those nominations where you do not participate as a nominee. For example: If you are nominated for the Investor of the Year and Tech Entrepreneur of the Year nominations, then you cannot vote for these nominations, but you can leave your votes for other nominations.
After Public Vote, 5 nominees for each nomination who received the highest scores from the public vote stage will be sent to the next stage. Jury members will get the applications (not the results of the public votes) of the top 3 nominees of the public voting stage.
The Jury will consist of 7 people with broad experience, expertise, and authoritative knowledge in the field of innovation. The names of the jury members will be announced during the IDDA Award ceremony
The TOP-3 nominees in each nomination will be invited to participate in the Innovation Summit on December 1, 2023, for free. All the other nominees will have to get their tickets to the event.
