Project name - E-taksi

Information about the project (which process is digitalized) – It was previously challenging for the state to effectively monitor the activities of taxi services and taxi booking operators in the country. This hindered efforts to improve the quality of taxi services for passengers within the state infrastructure. As a result, it became difficult to prevent safety issues, traffic congestion, and customer dissatisfaction during taxi services. The need for an optimal and centralized solution led to the creation of the E-Taxi subsystem. The E-Taxi subsystem, as part of the AYNA information system, is a web service based on "Big Data" that monitors, reports, and provides information about taxi services and operators, including their activities. This system enables the monitoring of taxi companies' operations from a single platform, analyzing data, and making informed decisions. Additionally, the system allows for the analysis of violations and ensures that taxi services adhere to the required standards. Considering the existing violations, potential risks, and other issues, the E-Taxi subsystem stands out as an indispensable solution for analysis and management.

Name of the organization that implemented the project – AZ SOFTVARE SYSTEM QSC

Was the project implemented with an end-to-end process approach? – yes

Was the project implemented within the past 12 months? – yes

What are the main take aways or achievements of the project? – According to the Law on "Automobile Transport" of the Republic of Azerbaijan, taxi booking operators are required to transmit anonymized information for each taxi booking in real-time to the information system of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. This includes monitoring the driver's working and rest periods. The system analyzes urban traffic to predict future situations, allowing the anticipation of traffic flow, congestion, and passenger density. As a result, the system enables more effective management decisions based on real-time data. This predictive approach serves to optimize the transport network and improve passenger convenience. Furthermore, the system identifies violations, including unauthorized taxi operations, passenger transport without valid permits, and the use of vehicles that do not meet standards. It automatically tracks, analyzes, and ensures that appropriate measures are taken for these violations, effectively monitoring compliance with the law. Additionally, AYNA and Traffic Police officers on-site can electronically obtain necessary information about the vehicle and driver (such as permits, health check reports, technical inspection status, and driver qualifications) by entering the vehicle's registration number into the E-Fine system, a subsystem of AYNA.
