Information about the project (which process is digitalized) – The "Yeni Klinika" under TƏBİB has achieved the HIMSS EMRAM 6 accreditation certificate. HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety, and economic efficiency of healthcare services through the optimal use of information technology and management systems. Established in 1961, HIMSS currently includes over 100,000 members, 480 provider organizations, 470 non-profit partners, and 650 healthcare service organizations.

The organization evaluates medical institutions through various assessment models and compares them globally with similar institutions. HIMSS has developed international standardization mechanisms through its HIMSS Analytics branch, aimed at enhancing healthcare processes and ensuring better services for patients. One of the most widely adopted models within HIMSS Analytics is the Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM), which supports digital health transformation in hospital settings, encompassing services from basic operations to a paperless medical record environment.

HIMSS certifies hospitals that reach levels 6 and 7 of digital transformation by issuing international accreditation certificates. In the case of "Yeni Klinika," missing requirements were addressed, and relevant workflows were optimized and fully digitalized. The improvements include:

• Implementing over 50% of the closed-loop medication system;
• Digitalizing over 90% of the treatment processes;
• Achieving over 95% digitalization of internal medical documentation;
• Developing and implementing electronic Decision Support Systems for doctors and nurses;
• Digitalizing over 95% of laboratory processes;
• Applying a range of standards to ensure the continuity of the Hospital Management System;
• Introducing innovations in analyzing treatment data and using results to improve quality;
• Expanding patient access to their medical records;
• Training medical staff on the implemented innovations.
